14w0d LMP

Well I am still here! My last Dr appt was 7/27. I was extremely anxious b/c that was at ~11wks, right after I had my last m/c. Actually, there were days when I was a wreck!! Benji went with me to the appt just in case we got bad news. I waited forever to get in to see the dr (he was running like 1.5hrs behind!!). And I asked him to doppler me right away. He did and was able to find the heart beat relatively quickly. The h/b was ~160 bpm. Right where it should be!! It was such a good feeling to know I had made it past my m/c!

I still worry though. I am waiting to tell everyone until after my next appt next week. I just worry that something may have happened right after my last appt and since it takes like 3 wks for your body to show symptoms, I'm worried that all may not be ok. It appears that I have made it out of my first trimester so just hoping for validation at the appt. Then I will feel comfortable letting everyone know.

I did tell people at my reunion b/c I was feeling fat (and not drinking was a big tip-off!) I actually stayed home from the first Friday at the Fair this year b/c I just wasn't up to going. Made me kind of sad, but I'm glad I stayed home- I wouldn't have had much fun there.

Benji and I went to the fair yesterday and I wore maternity clothes for the first time. My pants are definitely getting tight and I didn't want to be uncomfortable for the whole day so I wore some maternity shorts. They kept falling down on me, but I'm glad I wore them. I'm still wearing my regular clothes for work, but most nights I switch to elastic waist as soon as I get home. The pants are starting to be uncomfortable here all day so I'll probably switch as soon as everything checks out ok at the appt.
